Past Townhall’s and Vlog’s

I am going to go in Chronological Order, working back in time!  Perhaps the first and the last are the most important!

The Last VLOG I produced was in April of 2024, when I was running to become a National Delegate to the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee at the SC 3rd Congressional District Convention on April 13, 2024.  I am grateful to be one of three individual elected at that convention, from the counties of Abbeville, Anderson, Edgefield, Greenwood, Laurens, McCormick, Oconee, Saluda and portions of Greenville and Newberry Counties.  To follow is what I sent to those delegates on April 12, 2024:

Just prior to the first Planning Commission Public Hearing on the proposed LMO in February 2021, I prepared a short video explaining my view of the entire process.  I did this in large part due to misinformation which was taking place on Social Media:

Prior to the November 2020 election, I produced a short video discussing the Capital Project Sales Tax Initiative, which was on the ballot, which had the sole objective of funding a new law enforcement center, a process which began when I became Chairman of County Council in January of 2019.  The ballot initiative passed, and was the first time this had been executed in Edgefield County History:

On October 20, 2020 I held a Townhall, which went through all the issues Edgefield County was facing at that time.  On June 11, 2020 I had won re-election in a three way race, winning almost 59 % of the vote.  The November 2020 General Election was uncontested.

In January of 2020, as we completed my first full year serving as Chairman of County Council, we hosted a Retreat where the public could attend and hear presentations on several major projects we were undertaking at the time:

1. The Budget – to include a presentation on the potential of creating a Capital Improvement Plan.

2. Land Management Ordinances, to include a presentation on Conservation Easements and how they work.

3. Parks and Recreation – to include a presentation on how a Rails to Trails could become a part of our future.

There were no votes taken at this discussion, it was simply an opportunity for County Council to brainstorm ideas, which is not something we typically have the opportunity to do during regular meetings. This recording was produced by a constituent. She did provide verbal permission to utilize her recording, as this was prior to the county Executing their own live streaming technology, which came later in 2020. This is in three parts and commences while a guest speaker was providing a presentation on Capital Improvement Plans.

Townhall October 28, 2019:

Townhall in December 2017, when Dr. Tom Clark the Executive Director of The Fort Gordon Cyber Alliance came to speak to our community about the impact of Fort Gordon on our 7 county region, of which Edgefield County is a part:
